Price for Package of 5 seeds.

A shiny tree in the Mirtaceae family from the southern coast of Chile, the arraian is known for its colorful laurel and leaves that are intensely aromatic when crushed. Chilean myrtles grow slowly, forming a small shrub 3-5m tall.

The tree is abundantly covered with small creamy-white flowers in the flowering season, followed by purple berries 1 cm in diameter, which when ripe in autumn are both fragrant and edible.

Beautiful wood, best suited to Mediterranean climates, USDA zones 9 and above, winter-resistant -12c.
