Sow in spring and summer on top of the compost. The seed needs light to germinate.

Biennial or perennial tall pink, purple and cream-colored flowers. Digitalis is easy to grow and has dramatic, tall blooms that grow on spikes in shades of white, yellow, pink, rose, red, lavender and purple.
Plant in full, partial or light shade in rich moist soil.. Sow the seeds in mid- to late spring to get flowers the following summer. Seeds can also be sown in late summer. Please note that foxglove seeds are extremely small. Foxgloves will self-seed readily, making them an excellent candidate for naturalizing.
