This ornamental fruit is native to the lowlands of Ecuador and is often imported to other areas of the world for its decorative purposes.  The fruits are poisonous. It is part of the nightshade (solamum) genus and gains its name due to its unusual shape, resembling both a human breast and a cow's udder.  In China it is known as the Five Fingered Eggplant, in Japan it is known as Fox Face. Conditions: Likes well drained compost and full sun.  Suitable for pots or plant straight into the ground. Do not water-log.  Feed regularly using a tomato feed  or similar.
Avoid frost. Will grow to height of approx 1.5m Purple flowers turn to orange/yellow fruits.
