🌵 Dragon Fruit, also known as Pitaya or Pitahaya, is a night-blooming, climbing cactus originally from Mexico and South America. It produces striking oval fruits with bright red skin, green scales, and juicy white or red flesh containing hundreds of tiny black seeds. Plants can develop 5–20 ft long stems and produce 4–6 fruiting cycles per year under ideal conditions.

Night-blooming, yellowish-white bell-shaped flowers, 25–30 cm long, 15–17 cm wide
Highly fragrant, open in the evening and wilt by morning

Areoles 2 mm, spines 1–4 mm, gray-brown to black
