The Tres Cantos tomato is an heirloom from Tenerife. The name translates ‘Three Songs’ from Spanish. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces large amounts of 500 g, round, juicy, red tomatoes with bold, slightly-acidic, tomatoey flavors. Perfect choice for salads, canning, and market.
The beefsteak tomatoes are juicy with few seeds. Their flavor is excellent, savory with a great balance of acidic and sweet. The plants are strong growing, prolific and will need tall canes for support. For best results in yield, remove side shoots and restrict the plant to one main stem. They are resistant to most tomato diseases.
