Nothing tastes better than fresh-picked corn. It's so good you can eat it right in the garden.  Grow it once, you'll never go back. Supermarket corn tastes pretty good because scientists have fiddled with the genes, so it's always sugary and white. Personally, I don't want scientists fiddling with my dinner. If you long for the genuine article, Golden Bantam is the only heirloom sweet corn left that I know (except for hard Indian Corn that's grown to grind into flour.) This is the same sweet corn you enjoyed as a kid.
Corn is easy to grow, but there are tricks to getting a good harvest. If you're not already a pro, please look it up on Google. The most important thing is to plant it in clusters, several rows side by side. A long single row won't get pollinated and you'll get lots of stalks and no dinner.
This is more than enough seed for a backyard garden. Plant some every two weeks for an extended harvest.
This is an heirloom! Save your own seeds and plant free next year.
